If you do the points calculator from the Bia website, apparently the Masters degree from a UK university (or atleast from where I did mine) came up as saying our records show your qualification is acceptable for English language requirements!! But please dont take this as a rule, always check it from the points calculator from the HO website... !!!

Common sense!!!

Also just spoke to HO, they say if your initial FLR application has been made before 28th Feb08 (and even if decision is not made yet), it will be considered under old rules (contrary to he BIA website which says if decison is not made, reapply under tier1)

Thought I'd share my findings so far!!
