wife got hsmp approval - applying for ec help plz

Dear all,
My wife has got approval for HSMP and we are applying for EC next week, i am applying on dependent visa,i was in UK for 4 long years and i had overstayed for 7 months previously, will this overstay effect my dependent visa . please help me out of this situation as whether i should apply as dependent visa only after my wife gets a visa or should we both apply for the EC.

Hello ******,i think you shld apply after ur wife has already gotten EC
