Salary and Tax proof in Tier 1 (HSMP)

Hi,

I'm on deputation in UK. Getting allowance here.
I'm applying for HSMP. I've got my payslips stamped.
My Indian Tax return and P-60 also.
There is no NI no. mentioned on P-60. But all the taxes paid are shown in the appropriate section.
I've shown my papers to a lawyer to seek his advice whether everything is fine or not. He told me that I also need a letter from company saying "how and what amount of tax" is being paid in UK.
I'm a bit confused now. As getting this information is not very easy.
But after reading all the HSMP/Tier 1 guidelines I wonder do I really need this letter.
Would anyone please guide me on this.

As per the guidelines, two piece of evidence is required. You can submit your payslip along with the bank statement. HO encourages these set of evidence as the source is different.

At times tax document does not potray correct picture and will cause confustion.
