How to get the Original Docs back?

Dear all,
Am in the last minute of my visa application process.. could you pls help me with the below1
1) As an applicant from india, i would be using the local VFS office to submit all my originals.. What is the process to get them back.. People in UK are using Royal Mail Special Delivery and they enclose additional envelope.. But what should we do in case of application from India??

2) Also, Is original passport enough for Proof of Age?? Or shuld i include Indian Driving license as well. .Please help

- Original passport is more than enough. This cannot be disputed.

Your documents will be returned to you by post to the address you provide on your application. If a representative makes an application on your behalf your documents will be returned to him or her. Your documents will be returned using recorded delivery. If you want your documents to be returned by special delivery, you should provide a prepaid special delivery envelope. You can also arrange for your documents to be collected by courier at your own cost. If you would like to arrange a courier, put a courier request in writing by fax to 0114 207 6555.

Please note that overseas applications are returned using normal airmail. So no way to track the package in transit between UK and your home country on its way back. There have been many instances where documents have been lost in transit.

Suggest you arrange for a courier pickup, if applying from outside UK, to ensure safe return of your original documents.
