Duplicate Bank Statements?

Post by faisalliaqat » Sat Jun 07, 2008 1:01 pm

Hello All,

I will appreciate some help from anyone in this forum.

I am in the process of applying for Tier-1 General and each day face a new confusion. I am applying from within the UK and asked my bank (HSBC UK) to send me my last 12 months statements to show as evidence for my earning. I received the bank statements from my bank today in post and although they are original in all aspects like on official stationary and sent by post but they say 'Duplicate' on top. So is that ok or do I need something else from the bank to prove their authenticity?

Also, I have one main account for all my salary transactions and intend to show that for the Maintenance funds as well. So do I need to provide another copy of my statements for the maintenance fund or one copy will be enough for both the salary evidence and the maintenance fund evidence?

Thanks,

Faisal
