HO Waiting Times and Classfication of Tier-1 Applications

Post by anila » Sat Jul 05, 2008 12:12 am

Greetings to everyone contributing to this forum postively.

I can see the waiting times on UKBA website as below

"Straight forward applications (including Tier 1's) between 9 June 2008 and 13 June 2008. All other applications between 4 June 2008 and 6 June 2008"

Please can anyone clarify how they classify whether the application falls under straight forward application / other application category ? How can I interpret that my application falls under which category ??

Best Rgds,
Anila

You can't .. only a CW can .. based on the evidences provided.

The timelines published on UKBA website are for in-country applications only. The current service standard is 10 weeks (as advertised by them currently) but you *may* expect to hear from them within 5-7 weeks.

If you have applied from outside UK, best to check with local BHC / VAC regarding current processing times. For example, applicantions in India are being approved within 4-5 weeks on average (currently, and based on information posted on the forum).
