EC application from South Africa

Can any South Africans tell me what the average processing time has been like for EC applications? I have phoned the BHC and they have just said the average is 15 days. However, i have read that some people in other countries have waited much longer than this....

No idea about these days, but when we did it in Nov 2006, it took under 3 working days (posted Friday using DHL in Cape Town, collected the following Wednesday).

I saw on trackitt.com that it recently took 2 days for a guy to get his EC in South Africa, and by recent I mean in the past few weeks.
