FLR Tier1 (HSMP) and maintenance funds

Post by MrBaboo » Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:13 pm

I'm renewing my HSMP visa under the JR rules. Regarding "evidence I have the funds to maintain and accommodate myself" for which "documents provided should cover at least the last three months", I'm intending to supply my last 3-4 monthly bank statements showing a reasonable amount of funds for myself and dependant.

When I send these the latest statement will be about 2 weeks old and my bank will not issue out-of-turn statements or letters. Does anyone think this will be a problem? I note that under Tier 1 (General), these documents must be not more than 1 month old so I'm hoping the same rules will be applied. It would be very helpful for the HO to make such things explicit!

I will also be submitting up-to-date payslips (listed as on of the documents I can submit for this) which will cover the month my application falls in however, as I'm self employed, I doubt they will carry much weight.
