HSMP to Tier1 12 month period

Post by tier12008 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:53 am

I will be applying for extension under Tier1 shortly. (Presently on HSMP)

I have the pay slips for the past 12 months. However, in May, I was laid off and the company gave me 1 month notice. So, I got the salary of June credited in May's pay slip itself and got the P60 also by end of May.

So, there is no separate pay slip for the month of June although I have it for the months before and after June.

Would this be acceptable and count towards 12 month continuous period.

Well it wouldnt matter as you can give them details of any 12 months within the last 15 months of your application.

But is it not supposed to be a continuous 12 month period from the last 15-months?

Reading the Tier1 guidance notes...this is what it says:
=======
82. An applicant does not have to be in continuous
or full-time employment during the 12 months being
assessed.
=======

So, perhaps I could get away with it.
