I will strongly advise as not to go with the same statements
coz the guidelines clearly mentions
Internet statements are acceptable only if they contain all the information above. In addition you will need to provide a supporting letter from your bank, on company-headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided

regards,
kanwar

hi, kanwar25 thanks for ur reply. But my concern is even if i order statments it takes 5 working days to reach at UK address and another 2 to 3 days at adress in Indai, so its attogether 7- 8 working days by the time i take it to VFS it would be 10 days (including weekends).
Thanks.

If VFS clearly mentioned that maintainence requirement is not applicable to you; you are not subject to "not more than 7 days old statement" rule. Even online statements are also acceptable, in your case.

I would explain this difficulty in my covering letter or another option wud b account holder or his/her friend can walk into the bank with authorisation letter and get the statements immediately. My friend got me the statements based on the authorisation and DHL has 24 hrs delivery promise. May be u will pay a little more for the courier.

so the timelines are:

day 1 - your friend walks in with the letter and explain the bank the need for an immediate statement. anything with word ' home office' in your letter will help faster process

day 2- courier it to u by dhl

day 3 /4- u receive it

day 4/5 - u can file ur papers

hi, sri_sunny thanks for for ur valuable suggestion.I would rather go with first option of making a note of it in cover letter as i dont have enough time to wait for bank statements.

Take care.
