Police Clearance for Tier-1

Post by hpourabed » Thu Sep 25, 2008 3:41 pm

I was preparing my documents to apply for Tier-1 (General) which I see this sentence as one of the checklist items in form VAF-9 Appendix-C: "The official record of any conviction(s), detailing the crime(s) you were convicted of and the sentence(s) you received"

My question is, Do I need to prepare the official Police Clearance even if there is no record of conviction for me? Did you guys, sent the police clearance document to Home Office?

Does the policy guidance (or any form) instructs you to submit a Police Clearance Certificate? If not, then you are not required to! Simple!
