confusion about hsmp and tier 1

confusion about hsmp and tier 1

i think i am getting confused when people refer to tier 1 and hmsp.

Was there 2 separate forms before and after the 30th of June? So when people are waiting for their hsmp they have applied in the old system and tier 1 for the new system. Is that correct?

If that is the case, are the waiting times and processing procedures different between hsmp and tier 1?

I've clarified it with the home office now. They said hsmp and tier 1 are different and processed differently. They are processing HSMP applications up to the 19th of May and Tier 1 applications up to 27 of Aug now.
