Help me r

Post by satishac » Mon Nov 03, 2008 10:29 am

Hi,

I am planning to apply tier 1 visa on November 18 2008 . I have few questions regarding AGE and EARNINGS .

1) How age is calculated?

Eg: if my DOB is 29-Nov-1980 my age will be 27 or 28 on Nov 18 2008.

2) For Earnings can I claim from Sep 01 2007 to Aug 31 2008.It fall in past 15 months. I am going to take Aug 31 2008 for currency conversion.

Please help me in putting the information correctly.

Thanks,
-Satish

1) Age - only completed years - so, in your case 27
2) I think, this should be fine, as you are calculating it as the last day of the bank statement.

Hi ramgsk,

Thanks for your quick reply. I want to know whether taking a appointment is good idea or going directly will also work.

I am applying in Bangalore.

Thanks

It's better you take appointment prior to application, but if you are already with your documents, then it's not worth waiting 2 or 3 days for getting appointment fixed, but rather advice you to reach centre early, you should be done in an hour.
