New visa fees from Nov 6th

Hi,

You guys might be aware of the new rates from today onwards reduced from 54K to 51K. I had been to VFS with 54K DD and they turned down and back to make another one for 51K.

Best thing is I visited VFS website yesterday to check for the DD amount to be taken and there were no info at all. When I raised this point to VFS staff, he showed me the website and it is now updated. Wondering why cant there be suffiecient notice....


Anyways, Pl note that the rates have been changed.....

Welcome information, just sensing this for sometime since the xrates have dropped a lot, but checking the VFS site everyday, was not updated then.

Anyhow, atleast we save on that 3K , we can't anyway go away with this long queue though.

But, I am a bit confused, I understand there is a long queue, but the number of guys posting everyday that they have got visas (from India), has come down dramatically, a big queue could be there, but I don't see a reason why the number of applications got processed would come down, it's only my thought though, I might be completely wrong as well
