Tier 1 Dependent

Post by f1fan » Thu Mar 19, 2009 4:45 pm

I am currently on HSMP visa and was looking to apply as a dependent to my husband(who is under the Tier 1 general visa). But I called the Home Office today and was told that I need to go back to my country and then apply as a dependent.

Just want to confirm that. Please help.

I think HO is correct. As you are changing category(which is not a problem) but going from Independent HSMP visa holder to dependent. This needs Entry Clearance.

Senior members can put more light on it.
