Maintenance Fund Letter from Bank - Query Urgent

Post by ashokccs » Mon Mar 23, 2009 2:10 pm

Hi pals,

the bank people said they will issue me a letter stating the minimum balance in INR for the period covering more than past 3 months but will not be converting it into GBP.
will this be ok or is it required to convert the INR into GBP and mention the GBP equivalent in the letter?

kindly advice,
Ash.

If OK. You can then you cionvert the amount in GBP while applying. Mention it clearly in cover letter and also attached the conversion of the relevant date.

Thanks Chetanojha, if I take the letter tomorrow I would be applying on 26th March, so could you pls suggest me the conversion rates to be used???
should I consider the conversion rates when the bank statements and letter are issued???

kindly suggest,
Ash.
