EC cleared

Post by ShoaibJaved » Sat Apr 30, 2005 10:03 am

Hi,
Today I received passport of myself, wife and son with one year visa.
Can anyone tell me the exact wording of the dependants visa type. On my spouse's visa it says "VISA TO ACC SPOUSE".
Does it mean that my wife can only enter UK if travelling with me or is it the standard dependant visa where the principal applicant can enter UK and the dependant can follow later.

There was also a post related to VISA stamps, can anyone send me the link.

thanks,
Shoaib Javed

She does not literally have to accompany you everywhere you go or travel

She can join you anytime

thanks a lot Chess.
I was scared :) of the thought of my wife being at my tail where ever I go.

Going through the documents I found out that the BHC kept lot of documents from my application most, important of those documents is my original marraige certificate along with its translated copy. Will contact the BHC on the next working day.

Well, I only provided Nikkah Namma (Marraige Certificate) her passport with my name in the husband's place and her ID card.

confusion

Salam,
For EC you only need marraige certificate and ID card and passport. If you are seeking partner's points for HSMP approval then you have to submit documents to prove that the two of you are living together for the last two years. I did not claim any points for partner so was not required to submit documentation to prove two years of living together.
