Tier 1 Dependent visa questions

Post by balu_tyco » Tue Jun 16, 2009 10:30 pm

Hello Friends,

my name is Balu,i have switched from workpermit to Tier1 .i got married in UK, my wife is now on Student Visa, now I am planning to change my wife Visa staus to Dependent ,applying from India.

The documents i am providing with application are:
-Marriage certificate.
-Marriage photos
-photo copies of my visa and passport
-my salary pay slips
-my bank statements(last 12 months or how many months?)
-Tenancy Agreement
-do i need a letter from bank showing funds from last 3 months?

i have some problems or confusion with tenancy agreement,i am living my flat as a tenant from march 2007 and i had a tenancy agrement, when i ask my land lord about new agreement which i need for my visa application,he replied me that tenancy agreement renew automatically after first 6 months unless we break the agreement,later(3 months before) he given a letter signed showing that my wife has joined with me.
is this ok if i use my tenancy agreement and this latter to apply for visa,
could please some one explain me about the tenancy agreement and also other things i need to check.

your help and suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks
Balu

Thats fine. Read the tenancy agreement and see what the clause re renewal is i.e. does it have a provision for monthly/quarterly rolling once min break period is over.
