housing issue in extension

are they asking any proof where r u staying , if u stay as paying guest but not as tenent any issue for extension , in my family i and my wife is there and staying as paying guest with a friend

I have a job with gbp 1500 after tax and bank balance gbp 10000+ and i am workingin in my feild

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you are not receiving public funds. Also, I don't think there is such a thing as a "paying guest" - you are either paying or you are a guest

There is no legal thing like "paying guest" when you pay for your accomodation and have a right to use a specific space you are legally considered a tenant.

Is that true? The person could be classed as a lodger, which I think gives them less rights.
