Tier 1 General - Query

Hi,

I need help in filling the following section of the Tier1 General Form. I am currently on Work Permit since May 2007.

Query 1

Section 2 - Page 11
B10. Home Office reference number(s) (if known):

Query - Reference number written on my work permit is 16 digit long and block availabe in form are only 13.

Is it ok to write the extra bits outside the blocks?

Query - Are the topic C9 - C12 applicable in my case.

I have got my Indian passport only. I havent got any clue of what is foreign national Identity card.

D3. What date was the entry clearance or visa issued?

Query - On my passport I can't see any Issue date. Is the 'Valid from' date similar to the Issue date.

K1. Please provide details of the higher education, vocational or professional qualification for which the applicant is claiming points:

Query- Under the 'Institution' block should I need to write the Name of University or the College Name ? My College name is so big that no space would be left to write the University name.

V4. Applicants can claim 10 points for English language where:

Under the Institution name what should be written.

Points based calculator shows my University name and not the college name.

My College name is so big that no space would be left to write the University name

Is it the collge name or University name that should be written?

D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document

What should be written? Is it the Reference number written in RED on top right corner of my stamp in Passport or the Work Permit number written under my 'Visa Type' on my passport stamp ?

I provide red no. on the top right corner of the visa stamp. I didn't knew any other no. So from experience I can say it is accepted.

The reference number which I am referring is "Our Reference" number only and this number is 16 digit long. In that case what shall I write in the 13 block space available.

Also my Qualification is Master of Computer Application which is not possible to fit in the available blocks for Qualification. So what I have done is, I write all the extra bits outside the block. Is this way of writting acceptable or will it result in application rejection ?

B11. Give details of any current or previous worker reference number(s) under work permit arrangements (if applicable):

Mention your Work Permit Reference No as CHETAN mentioned below

Check other reference no. called "our" reference no. on your work permit.

I remember you can write MASTERS DEGREE in qualification and under field of studies you can write COMPUTER APPLICATIONS. Haven't check the latest form though.
