Hello Everyone,

I am applying for the Tier1 visa and require a format for the Covering Letter for Maintenance funds in multiple accounts.

Actually, I have funds in 2 bank accounts for which I need an explanation.

There is no specific format and you don't even need a separate cover letter. In your main cover letter when talking about your maintenance funds, you can mention the following:

As proof of maintenance funds I am submitting bank statements covering the three month period from xx/xx/2009 to xx/xx/xxxx for the following two bank accounts:
1) A/c no. 123456789 with ABC Bank - showing £xxx as balance for the last three months
2) A/c no. 987654321 with XYZ Bank - showing £xxx as balance for the last three months

This should be sufficient as long as you remember to mention in the checklist at the end of the form that you are submitting two bank account statements for the maintenance requirement.
