Extenion Application Sent

Post by innocentdevil » Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:01 am

After a long wait and arguments with my boss over payslips I have finally sent my docs over.

Re-previous posts where some of the forum members had an issues about PAYSLIPS on a plain paper and getting them signed and stamped. Well, i was about to send them with signature and letter from employer 'cuz my company didn't had any STAMP but as I was about to send, I had a call from one of my friends and his application was REJECTED because of this.

Basically, his payslips were all STAMPED but not signed and they rejected them.

As my company didn't have any stamp so the final solution my company came up with to copy all my 12 payslips on to the company headed paper for me ( POSH Paper :o ) and then get another letter (on a company headed paper) saying those are genuine (being all on company headed paper) and on the top, they are also signed by Payroll Administrator and with her direct phone number just in case.

I were supposed to send my docs on monday but sent Yesterday (7/10/2009) just because of that but I am relieved now and again it is better to be safe than sorry.

Sent all other usual documents as listed below:

- Extension form for Tier 1
- Passport for Age verification
- Bachelors' Degree for Education , as per my previous HSMP application
- Payslips from Both Jobs signed with letter(s) from Companies
- Bank statements showing those transactions
- Maintenance funds

Hopefully, everything goes to plan.

Thanks for all the advice everyone and I will keep you updated.

you are very right Ramesh. But I think If I tell you what I did to get those letters you would be amazed. I literally had to have a serious argument with company boss which I eventually won hence all the letters and payslips.

On same note, just checked my credit card, the fee has been deducted today.

well, I have been ranting in front of my boss for over 3 months about stamp and everything but as usual he didn't give a shite to whatever I said and he told me to talk to accounts (Our accounts dept is in other building).

So been to accounts and asked her to do it and she said i have to talk to boss. At first, I was calm but then it started getting ridiculous.

they did sign all the pay slips for me but as they didn't have any stamp so they said they can't do it on that I said why don't you get one made but he was reluctant for some reason.

So, 5 days before submitting application, i started emailing him about the STAMP issue at which he started ignoring me so I rang him and as usual no answer, left several voice messages but no reply. I was off for that particular week but I had to submit application.

The only choice left was to go to office even when I was off so went in and told him I have to get this done otherwise I am not leaving and as an employee I have the right to ask you to do this. I also said to him that I am not asking you to do any MALICIOUS ACT, all I am asking is a genuine company stamp or just get my payslips for last 12 months on COMPANY HEADED PAPER. I involved the ACCOUNTS LADY with it as she also wanted our pay slips on proper company stationery so after a long discussion with accounts and me, he agreed but then he said tomorrow but I made him do it straight away with reasoning about posting my application today.

I also sent him an email that If my application is rejected because of pay slips issue then I will get that FEE out of company which I think was another factor to convince him

Hope your relationship with your boss will be good after all this. Anyway once you get Tier 1 who cares... ;-)

you are right who cares but my relationship with the boss is brilliant. He's kind of the person who wants a challenge and wants people who speak for oneself and not shy or afraid to argue. He is all good with me.

on the worst note, end of a job ain't the end of the world.
