Earlier Tier 1 refusal - Applying again

My earlier application for Tier 1 got rejected due to my mistake of not providing the correct evidence of maintainence funds. Now I plan to apply again and this time I have been very careful and will send the correct documents required.

I did not notice any questions in the Tier 1 form which asks to provide information about any past visa refusals. Do I need to mention this information anywhere on the form?

Ofcourse, there is a question initially which asks to mention all correspondence ref numbers of communication from HO. In there, I have mentioned the reference number that appeared on the letter of refusal that I had got from HO. Is that sufficient enough or do I need to make any additional mention elsewhere in the form about the earlier refusal?

No need to mention it if it is not asked. you should be ok to mention the PBS reference number. they will be able to locate the application history using that.
