Hello folks
I have a rather unusual situation and I came across this forum on the web… hoping I can get some help.
I moved to the UK in 2006 on the basis of a work permit valid till 2011. KPMG were appointed by my employer to go through entire process (documentation, application process etc) and I remember that during this time, KPMG wanted me to email them scanned copies of all my academic and professional qualifications. I have a Masters Degree (attained in 2002) however I did not think it had direct relevance to the job I was offered so I did not include it in the documents I emailed KPMG. I did send a copy of my Bachelor’s degree cert though. Remember these were all copies only – no originals were requested.
I am now in the process of switching to Tier 1 and obviously have to submit my Masters Degree original cert, which I will but I was wondering whether the Home Office will look at the WP application from 2006 and say ‘Oh this guy didn’t show that he had a Masters degree when he applied for WP but he is now presenting a Masters Degree. How come?â€
