HSMP renewal dependants and Biometrics

Post by saurya_s » Fri Oct 23, 2009 5:31 pm

Hi all,
When one gets HSMP renewal, what happens to dependants with respect to Biometrics? Can this be done in a day? I remember when I got HSMP it was two step process- one to get HSMP and then get visa stamped? How does it work with renewal. Does the same person approves extension and grants visa?
Many thanks
S

For in-country HSMP extensions under Tier 1, there is no need for Biometrics a this stage. Also, you will need to submit your passport with the extension application and is a single shot process. Refer UKBA website for more details please.

Hi crowbar,
Thank you mate. Do you know if I go in person, do my dependants have to go as well or the main applicant in person+passport of dependants is required?

Main applicant + passports is fine though previous applicants have taken dependants as well to be on the safe side.
