Tier 1 Dependent Visa India

Me getting married and applying for Tier1(HSMP) Dependent visa to bring my fiance early March. Would appreciate responce to my below queries

1. I suppose we need to email the VFS office to get appointment (not like before where you got there early morning on the same day to get token). How long before we need to get this appointment booked. Its VFS in Chennai.

2. VFS website says its 5 working days for someone travel before and 15 days for new applicant. I have been in UK for few years now and this is a dependent application so would it be 5 working days for processing visa??

3. There are two Visa application and fees for HSMP and Tier1 Dependent. I was initially approved on HSMP but just got my extension done on Tier1. So do I have to use application and pay fees for Tier1 dependent?
