Can masters from Manchester univ. fetch 25 marks ?

Post by quite eager » Fri Sep 09, 2005 8:18 pm

I did masters in Development Administration and Management from IDPM, University of Manchester in 1999 on Britannia chevening scholarship. I hope they would grant me 25 marks comfortably for academic qualifications.

Would request for comments/views of moderators and other friends on the above.

Thanks ahmilde, in fact someone was conjecturing that such degrees granted by UK universities for scholarhsip holders are not held in that high an esteem as other degrees. But, frankly, I could not make out any reason for any discrimination.

Would request for any further comments by the moderators.

Ive heard of the Chevening and know its quite competitive, but you used the scholarship to attend a masters degree course at the University of Manchester, yes? And you were granted a masters degree from the University of Manchester?

From my experience the HSMP caseworkers only need to see the piece of paper and to know that its original- they could care less that you went to Manchester on Chevening- the important point is that you went and graduated.
