Selfemployed and Tier1

Post by aneeshvaze » Thu Mar 25, 2010 4:36 pm

hii All,

I have been employed for the past 11 years with a bachlors degree when since 2008 I was self employed as a consultant. I want to apply after 6th April under new rules. Was earning since the age of 16 due to family circumstances I still fall in the age points being 29 years by the new rule.

I have two question

1) Can I apply for Tier1 general being a selfemployed consultant under the new rule from 6thApril to be able to be selfemployed consultant in UK

2) Can i show the money earned as a consultant for the past year which is more or less inconsistant eg. 1 month I would get 50k another month 2.5lac the third month simply 10k. Whold that be a problem for an Tier 1

If anyone has such an experience it would be highly appreciated if you could share.

Thanks in Advance.

only documents listed in Tier 1 guideline would make your case stronger
if you can claim 75 for Age, Qualification and Previous earnings (including UK Experience), satisfy english maintenance funds requirement and can provide the documents they ask for then you're good
Goodluck.
