Local UK bank recommendations please

Hi folks,

Please can anyone here post there experiences about dealing with UK banks when it comes to a better service such as in terms of procuring documents. I will surely be needing docs to apply for an extension in 2 years time so wondering if people can make any recommendations based on their experiences. Lloyds and HSBC are the only 2 that come to my mind for now.
