Post by prisat » Sat Jun 12, 2010 2:08 pm

Even after saying over many times, fund maintenance letter was addressed to

THe assessing Officer
British Deputy High commissioner
Chennai

I believe this should be fine (commissioner instead of commission)

Your inputs folks !!!!!

Confirm me another thing !!!!

I requested for data between 3rd March 2010 to 2nd JUne 2010.

They provided the confirmation for funds availability between those dates.

BUT THEY ISSUED THE LETTER ONLY ON 10th June 2010 taking into consideration the value of 10th JUne's exchange rate value.

Is that fine ???

Note : Even if they consider Rs. 80 to be the exchange value for one pound, i have enough funds available between those 90 days period (3rd March 2010 to 2nd June 2010).

should be fine as long as the exchange rates on the date of application is favourable to you.

Yes, as already suggested above shouldn't be a problem if you satisfy the maintenance requirement with the exchange rate on the day of application and as you said that you are safe even if the exchange rate goes to Rs.80 (highly unlikely), you should be fine.
