Tier 1 from June 1. Can wife come before me?

Tier 1 from June 1. Can wife come before me?

Hi Mates,

We had applied for the T1 from Syd, Australia and valid from June 1 onwards.

Since I'm still at my current work and cannot leave before July 31, 2010 due to the current assignment contract, can my wife who's on the dependent visa arrive before me and complete all the formalities? I am planning to come Aug 5th if this is possible, or else I will come with her together and then return to Australia till Aug 5th.

Obviously we havent entered as yet so do let me know if this is possible.
