Question regardin English

Post by memphis » Mon Jul 12, 2010 3:23 pm

I wanted to apply for Tier 1 General visa.

I have a bachelor's degree that shows in Points calculator. It awards points for bachelors (30 Points) but the same degree doesnt award
points for English on the Points calculator.

I have already sat the TOEFL test and result will come online after two weeks. And the test result transcript will be posted after two
months at my home.

I had taken IELTS an year ago but have lost the original transcript and only have the copy of it.

I have following questions:

If i produce a university letter stating that the degree was taught in English and attach the photocopy of IELTS result, Will it work ?

OR

I attach the online result of TOEFL, Will it work ? ( I cannot wait for Two months for the transcript to be posted).

OR

Can i get a NARIC letter to claim points for English ?

Please advise

If it is not in the PBS calculator (English section), NARIC will not state anything contrary as PBS calculator is referenced from NARIC only.
