Name reflected in Dependent visa applier's passport

Post by Arpita » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:24 am

Hi All,

My husband is currently in London and shortly I will be applying for my dependent visa. My passport and all supporting have my maiden name. Can you please let me know if it is mandatory to include my husband's name as my surname in my passport in order to obtain a dependent visa? We have a marriage certificate btw.

Thanks
Arpita

Not needed. If you can, get it now. It is an added advantage.... And in future, this (passport with last name as ur husband's name) might be useful for other stuffs too.
