Hi All,
In my last post the query about bank statement that was below. I have last question from point 3 from policy guidence below.
Recently I order my bank statement from bank covering period from 1st May 2010 to 3rd August 2010. Today I have received my bank statement but strangely on first page of statement have my Name, Address, Account No & sort code. But period it showing start from 2nd July to 3rd August.
In rest of other pages in statement it covers period from 1st May 2010 to 3rd August 2010 also have my only my name, a/c & sort code no address. Is that OK? Only first page getting some confusion which tell that only last month statement but in statement it has covering all last 3 month period.
I took out the First Page and send only pages of transactions of statement...
As they said in their policy guidence no address is Mandatory, so I am fine and no worries about this issue.
Policy Guidence point about bank statement and my Comments:
Personal bank or building society statements
These should clearly show:
1- your name; - That's fine my name is showing on every page of statement
2- your account number; - That's fine my account no & sort code is showing on every page of statement
3- the date of the statement;
- But have concerned about this. Does it mean covering period showing on first page. i.e: 3 May 2010 to 3 August? But date is only display along with every individual transactions.
Question:
Do we required First Page showing Covering period ( i.e: 3 May 2010 to 3 August)?
Not all transcations showing year(2010) only 1st line of each statment page which the balance brought forward from last page of stateming showing year(i.e: 27 july 2010) but rest of transactions showing only date with no year.
4- the financial institution’s name and logo; - That's fine logo & name is showing on every page of statement on bank letter head.
5- transactions covering a three month period; - That's fine transaction covering 3 months
6- that there are sufficient funds present in the account. The balance should not fall below the required minimum at any time during the 3 month period; - That's fine as well.
