Documents Needed for baby born outside UK

I am in uk on Tier-1 general visa valid until June 2011, my wife is on tier-1 depenadant valid until june 2011.
We are expectiing a baby in Feb 2011, So i got some doubts related to my depenadant (baby) visa it would be great if you can please help me.

Queries:

1) Which application form needed (VAF10 OR ?)
2) what are the documents needed
3) Application fees (Â£644 ?)
4) Is the tier 1 dependant (spouse) visa process is the same as tier 1 depenadant (baby).
5) maintainance funds
6) As our visa is expiring in jun 2011 if i apply for her(baby) in april 2011 how long she get the visa.

Please do also let me know if i have missed anything.

No difference whether it is a spouse dependent or child dependent, except that this time you'll need a birth certificate rather than a marriage certificate!

Dependent visa expires the same day as the current leave held by the main migrant.

No. If the current leave expires while dependents are outside the UK, they may apply for EC again.

You mean reappling again as a fresh dependant visa.

what form should be filled if the applicant already got the EC visa, lived in the Uk for the whole year and their leave expired while they were out of the UK. Main applicant got Further leave to remain (until Dec 2012)but it is not clear whether dependants will be applying for the FLR (outside UK) or they would be applying for the EC again???

What fee would be applicable?

I will appreciate if you could help me out please.

Extension of stay (leave to remain) can only be applied from within the UK. When outside the UK, one can only apply for leave to enter (entry clearance).

In simple words: when outside, you apply to "enter" UK. When inside, you apply to "remain" in UK.
