Taxation Policy for HSMP holders

Post by hello_aman » Fri May 14, 2004 9:17 am

hello everyone

I have recently got the HSMP and am looking for someone who can guide me on the taxation policies for HSMP.

Q) If I am employed by an agency does that agency pay the tax to the UK government or I have to take care of it?

Q) Are the HSMP tax policies similar to the Work Permit tax policies or is there any difference?

Q) Are there any website that lists the potential agencies that help in seeking jobs(IT) in UK?

Cheers

1. If the agency is your employer, it will be responsible for your tax affairs (PAYE). However, you may still be required to submit an anuual return if you are a higher rate taxpayer (>£35,000).

2. The same treatment applies.
3. Search the web as new agencies are constantly coming to the market.
