Normally what UKBA ask from your employer while making check

Post by a_s_c » Tue Oct 05, 2010 10:51 pm

Hi All,

I have applied for UK Tier 1 General on last Saturday from my home country. Now I am a bit anxious about that if those guys are gonna call to my HR and gonna ask what. And I think it is a very important question and other people who are going to apply would have been looking for the answer as well.

Many people on this site would have got a Successful Tier-1 General Visa and must be knowing that what was asked from their employer.

Like did they verified each amount claimed by the applicant or just the current salary and since when he is employed and thats it. Please share your experiences.

I have one more question. I have submitted the below docs for my application.

1. My Salary Slips signed and stamped by the Employer.
2. Employer Letter Confirming the Salary of Each Month while mentioning Gross & Net. Also mentioned about the Bonus I got separately other than the Salary Slips.
3. My Bank Statement.

Is that enough for a successful Tier-1 Visa? Moreover again I would ask that if they will call my employer; what they are gonna inquire about? Please tell from your experiences.

Searching the forum will be helpful for documents.
See the sticky.

Anyways, your documents should be good ('if bank statement has bank name and logo and on original letterhead :) )

Why you worried about your employer now when you have already submitted application? Again, search the forum.
Mostly, question may be
1. If you are working with them 2. Or when you joined.
Salary might be out of question esp. because employer might not disclose it.
"personal/proprietary information" ;)
