Marriage Certificate for main applicant

Marriage Certificate for main applicant

Hi Experts,
I am planing to apply UK tier 1 visa on second week of OCT 2010.
I am married , and right now i m applying for myself only.
I will apply for my wife later.
Is it mandatory to submit marriage certificate ?
I have not yet got the marriage certificate. :(

Please help me :(

Not required, if you are marking a No.

If you want, just put name of spouse. Nothing else.
I did so even when I am NOT applying for my wife as 'dependent'.

I assume you are applying from outside UK. If so, you need to provide a Marriage Certificate. Read the VAF Form carefully - Page 7:
Unless single, please provide evidence of your marital status e.g. marriage or civil partnership certificate
