Tier-1 Dependent Query

Hi,

I am currently on Tier-1 (General) and planning to get married soon.

After marriage I need to get my fiance's Dependent Application.

When I applied for Tier- 1 (General) my marital status was Single.

After marriage my fiance will apply with Married status.

My query is , Do I need to inform UKBA abt my marital status as Changed to Married and "only after that" can my fiance apply for Dependent visa?

Dependent application shall be done with the marriage certificate with status as Married. Does that suffice the requirement ?


Expert advise required, please help as we plan to apply soon for Dependent Visa.

Sorry .. I am currently on Tier-1 General and need to apply for dependent for my fiance..

I wil be getting married outside UK, i.e in India.

Get married and apply for dependent EC for your wife. No need to inform UKBA about anything beforehand.
