Plz review my application

Post by ganesh46 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 7:30 am

Hello Friends,

I am applying for tier1 general on November 3rd from Bangalore, India.

Please see whether the following documents are sufficient . And also provide any comments if necessary.

Documents I am going to submit are:

1) VAF 9
2) Appendix 1 - Tier1 General migrant self assessment form
3) TwoPassport (present and old damaged one)
3) Maintenance Funds: Attested Bank statements (having Bank logo, Bank name, A/C number, Date of statement 115 days transactions with a minimum balance of 281,000 INR) with Stamp and Signature and a letter from the bank on the letterhead mentioning the details as per guidance.
4) Previous Earnings: Physical Bank Statements with stamp and signature & Payslips (electronic) with stamp and signature.
5) Original degree for proving my masters degree qualification and English language requirement (pbs gives points for my masters degree for english)
6) Point Based calculator form

I travelled to Canada on a Business Visa from January 2010 to March 2010 on a business visa.
Please see this link

p=417541&highlight=#417541

As per the advice of seniors, I am going to uplift my indian salary during these three months and am not going show my allowances I got in Canada.

And also am not going to make a mention of this trip in my application form.

Thanks a lot,
Ganesh

I checked your business trip post link.
You don't need to use it anywhere in calculation or show allowances for trip. nothing is needed at all.

I have been couple of times to US in claim period of 12 months, but didn't mention it for T1 application.

In original passport, BHC can see both B-visa as well as stamps at airports.
Don't complicate with business trip, claim is separate or any letter.

You look good.

Hi Ganesh,

It was regarding other thread where you asked question about 'letter about Canada trip from company'.
So, please do not submit any documents or no mention is required about Canada trip.

Your documents look good.
I had put a thread 'Initial Application Process - *** outside UK'.
It has details as well.

Good luck with your application.

Thanks a lot for help. I could not find the above link, plz provide URL

Also i asked you this query in some other post. Request you to comment
----------------------------------------------------------

Adding to this, I too have taken dot matrix statement (with Bank name, logo, stamp and seal) from ICICI for fund maintenance. But to be on the safer side, I have also taken a letter from the bank on the letterhead stating the details as per the guidance shown below

-------------------------
Letter from bank confirming funds and that they have been in bank for at least three months
The letter from a bank or building society should state:
your name;
the account number;
the date of the letter;
the financial institution's name and logo;
the funds held in your account; and
that enough funds have been in the bank for at least three months.
We will not accept letters which simply show the balance in the account on a particular day as these documents do not show that you hold enough funds for the full period required.
------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this would be sufficient. If not, plz comment.

Cheers,
Gan
