Tier 1 General -Dependant

Post by Amiya » Thu Dec 02, 2010 11:30 pm

Hello friends,

I am in UK on Tier 1 General Visa. My wife is applying for the dependant visa. Does she need to take the Engsh test or show proof that she has passed her degree with English medium.

And do I need to show the maintenance fund for myself as well. I am showing 1600GBP for her.

Appreciate your valuable guidance.

Cheers,
AKS

No English test needed.

If you are in UK for more than 12 months, show 533 pounds.
Otherwise, show 800 pounds.

For the dependant, it is either 533 pounds or 1600 pounds.
