Please help me, its very urgent

Its my first entry on this forum and i am expecting some possible solutions from experienced guys. My HSMP visa is due to extention on 28th june but problem is that one of my relative in France is really sick and i should be there.but problem is that i can't apply for france visa coz they ask for 6 month validity of UK visa. Can i send my application for extension mentioning the reason in covering letter.

Plz give me suggestion

Others might be more optimistic but my opinion is that applying four months prior to expiry is far too soon.

Anyone else any other thoughts?

I agree with John. 4 months in advance is far too early and they may not accept it.

With respect the UK's immigration rules are formulated to control entry and the stay of designated nationals and not purposely for your travel convenience regardless of your personal circumstances i.e no don't waste your money applying as such will be rejected and rightly so without right of appeal.
