Tier 1 visa: Working back in India...Urgent

Post by stier1 » Wed Dec 15, 2010 10:53 pm

Hi,

I am currently working in UK under Tier 2 (Intra company transfer) visa and my assignment will stay here for 8 months more.

I am getting a contract assignment offer back in India for 1 month and getting nice salary after that I will be applicable for Tier 1 visa. Assuming that i will take 1 month leave here in UK and go back to India for the assignment. My question are:

1) Can a Tier 2 (INT Comp) transfer employee work as a contractor back in India for some other company???

2) Since I will be earning that amount back in India, So can I use 5.3 multipicative factor on it.

I would appreciate if you can help me on this.

Regards,
stier1

I believe till then tier 1 will be exhausted s better stay there and try to extend your stay - A logical, feasible and risk free suggestion

Good luck

My Plan is to apply Tier 1 from UK only, so i don;t have to think about monthly quota.

I dont think. Because if you take leave in UK for one month, still you need to show the salary in UK. So I beleive you cant use the uplift factor. I am also in same condition like you...
