Tier1 (General) extention after the new announcement

Post by amir1105 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 4:01 pm

Hi,

I have taken a Tier 1 General visa last year in August, but not yet shifted to UK.
Now with the new ruling from UK immigration that Tier General route will be closed from April 2011.

How this will affect my case, where I will have to apply for an extension of 3 years to become complete 5 years eligibility period for ILR.

Can some one guide me on this?
as this is very important for me to plan..

Thanks in advance,

Amir

My friend as far as new changes are concerned it wont affect your visa you can travel any time within validity ov your visa, However, in order to get ILR you have to complete a continues five years of stay in UK, you can only stay out ov the country during these five years i think for 4 months you need to logon to UKBA website to find out that.

Hope it helps
