Stamp on your passport everytime when you are entering UK or out of UK.

This should be there on your passport.

Airline tickets showing that you traveled during the given duration To and Fro whatever date it would be (This is what I can think of.)

companies/company letter confirming the same.

Why whats the query?

Your passport would say it that you were in India during that duration. As you would have the stamp during immigration check n your way in and out of UK.

And I believe that is more than sufficient for them to understand.
I am not sure if there is any other documentation needed for it.

You can get a letter from the company stating that:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Mr./Ms Name has been employed by us in India and he has worked with us in our company in our Office registered at for the below mentioned period.
(You can the letter amended this is just a sentence or 2 I mentioned)

I believe this should also be sufficient.

But I think you wont need the above mentioned, your passport stamps will say it all.

Are you just showing your Indian Income? or even ur UK income? For how long were/are you in India?
Going back or already gone back? What visa are you on? what tenure of visa is left?

Actually, this isn't always the case.
The UK doesn't stamp you leaving the country, they just let you go.

And some countries don't stamp you on arrival - e.g. when returning to New Zealand (at least for citizens).

If you don't have an exit/entry stamp, I'd probably include flight booking details, or something.
