I am preparing to apply for FLR after 4 years here in the UK on the HSMP visa. I am hoping for some guidance on 'proof of accommodation'. I am married to a UK citizen and we live together in a flat which he owns. There is no outstanding mortgage on this flat.
What sort of proof (if any) should I provide for my accomodation? In my previous FLR application (the one which I submitted after the first 12 months in the UK), there was still a mortgage payment so I submitted copies of my husband's (at that time we were not married) bank statements along with a letter signed by him stating that I lived there rent-free. Would just a letter stating this be sufficient without any mortgage proof? Is this necessary now that we are married (i.e., can I just state that 'we' own our flat with no mortgage) in a letter.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
