I have a tier 1 highliy skilled migrant visa issued in May 2009. The visa is valid through to May 2012 and I am yet to travel to the UK on this visa.

My girlfriend will need to make an application for a depedant visa before we go. As I have not yet enterred the UK, do we have to show funds for me and her (2800 + 1600) or just her (1600).

Are there any other complications due to me having not enterred the UK yet?
