My Employer depositing my salary into my back account

Post by D-one » Tue Jul 05, 2011 9:20 pm

Hi all,
I will be applying for my Tier 1 extension by Oct, 2011
Please I need your advise here, I work for three employers, two of the employers pay me through bank transfer showing that the money is coming from each employer name but the third employer being a small company deposit my salary in my bank account with the name of the company showing that the money is coming from the company. One of the employer send my payslips by email, and promise to stamp and sign them when I print them out. The second one , the employee need to login to their website to print the payslip but it contains the company logo and address. The employer that deposit my salary said that he is ready to give letter(compamy letter-headed) that say whay my net pay is being deposited and state how much i have earned for the period.
my question now is that will Home office accept the salary that is deposited by the employer. Please advise.
Thanks

At the very least you can always get your salary payments verified by a third party (i.e. one of us accountants). However it would cost you extra to get this done so you may not be your preferred route. If this is so, it is probably just worth explaining the situation to UKBA and taking down details of the response and the person who answers your query.

Finally this answer is given without trying to purport to be a UKBA or visa expert and give specific advice on the subject. Logic would suggest that you can prove your income. However in some administrative organisations, logic isn't always followed!

Although this case is not complex, it may take a bit of time for the caseworkder to understand and verify. What you must do is:

1. Get the payslips from the first two companies authorised. (This is a must do)
2. Get the letter from the third company neatly written mentioning your gross, net, NI, tax etc. and properly signed in their letterhead
3. The bank statements should clearly show these payments
4. Get a letter from HMRC (I think this is possible. You can contact HMRC and see. Some people have done it)

And this should be enough. If you find it complecated, you can take help from an accountant and he can help you. Of course it will cost money, but you will be assured.

Keep the things as simple as possible for the caseworkder.

Now I understand why home office charge lots of money for Tier1 visa. People like me who have very straightforward cases suffer for that.

i used to work and i am still working with an employer who pays me cheque and i have to deposit money into my bank account.

all you have to do is to get your employer to write a letter confirming your salary to the payslip and you will be fine.
