need help with my Tier-1 application status

Hi,
I have applied for Tier-1 General on 03 April 2010.Since then i haven't heard anything from the Home office.I kept calling them and they always say my application is under processing.

In Dec 2010 when i called they said they have already sent a package out in Nov 2010 and gave me the Royalmail reference number.When i told them that neither me nor my solicitor has received anything they put me on hold and said that there was a mistake and that they are still precessing the application.Then after a few days again when i called them they again said they have sent a package and asked me to write a letter to -- UKBA,Lunar House,40 Wellwsley Road,Croydon,CR9 2BY.Fax-02081963248.
I wrote a letter in Jan 2011 explaining the situation(that they say a package was sent and i haven't received anything yet).On 25th feb 2011 i received a letter from UKBA,sheffield,S3 8WA,saying that my application was received and that it is currently being considered.And also that they are unable to say when a decision will be made and a member of UKBA will be in contact shortly with the outcome.
Since then i haven't heard anything again and also lost my job in Jan 2011.I wrote to them in May 2011 explaining that i have lost my job and also my financial condition is bad;but no reply.Today i called them again only to hear the same story-we have sent you a package and write to us (fax-01142072536).

Please advise me what i can do?
