i was a dependant on my wife's tier one visa. we applied for ilr and were refused as we had exceeded the 90 day rule. my wife is appealing this decision. in terms of work and peace of mind can i apply in my name and start a new application for tier one even though my visa as a dependant has expired? i was thinking we could apply under the '10 yr rule' next year. many thanks

No.
Tier 1 (General) is closed for new applicants! You are a "new applicant" because you are not a Tier 1 (General) migrant ... but a dependant.
